WAR OF SOULS

I am ready to fight
This war to the end
So that I end my plight
So low am tired to bend
Hope the end will bring light
Since am fighting with “a heaven sent”
What I need is you in my sight
Far from you my life will end

Courageously I launch the fight
A real fight between two souls
Fighting with a friend not a foe
Something I never did before
In this fight I need not an arrow
Neither do I need a bow
My tongue is the best weapon
I will use it till I win

This is a magical war
Fought deep inside the heart
Hope the chest will bear tremors
Of this do or die fight
Though cautious the hearts will be
So that none is devoured
If the hearts hurt at this stage
The mission will be aborted

Today I will meet my ‘friendly enemy’
In the souls’ battle field
I will hit first with a word
Hope she will reply with a smile
Then I will prepare the next hit
That will make her heart to ignite
If I feel the same ignition
I will end the fight
For I will have completed the mission
By winning her heart
